Our team brings together considerable experience from across the breadth of the financial and related professional services industry.

Our Chairs are among the most senior and respected practitioners in the industry and each chairs a major global financial institution. Our executive team and senior leads are all specialists in their fields. They draw on their many years of experience to deliver the best possible outcomes for our members and the industry.

We also have a network of Regional and Nationals Chairs across the UK in every area with a major hub for financial and related professional services. The chairs are industry practitioners who bring together a network of members and partners in each nation and region. They are also the industry’s ambassadors across the country and make a vital contribution to the work of TheCityUK.

Anne Richards DBE

Board Chair

Anne Richards DBE joined Fidelity International as CEO in December 2018 and was appointed a Director of FIL Limited in September 2019. She has worked in the asset management industry since 1992. Anne has almost three decades of experience as an analyst, portfolio manager and CIO and is a strong proponent of sustainable investing. Her career path spans many blue-chip global names in the financial sector, including Alliance Capital, JP Morgan, Merrill Lynch Investment Managers, Aberdeen Asset Management and M&G Investments.

Bruce Carnegie-Brown

Leadership Council Chairman

Bruce Carnegie-Brown has been Chairman of Lloyd's of London, the world's leading marketplace for commercial, corporate and speciality risk solutions, since June 2017. He is also Vice-Chairman of Banco Santander, Chairman of the MCC, and Chairman of Cuvva, a digital motor insurance business. Bruce has been our Leadership Council Chair since April 2022.

Miles Celic

Chief Executive Officer

Miles has held the role of Chief Executive Officer since September 2016. He is also a board member of UK Finance and the Financial Services Skills Commission. Miles began his career in broadcasting, making and presenting radio and television programmes for the BBC and others.

Jennifer Green

Managing Director, Corporate Affairs and Company Secretary

In her role as Managing Director, Corporate Affairs, Jen is responsible for setting and overseeing the organisation’s corporate affairs strategy. She leads teams focused on promoting the breadth of work delivered by the organisation; ensuring members are fully engaged on the issues most important to them; and ensuring that the business and colleagues are well supported. Jen is also the organisation’s Company Secretary.
