Green and Sustainable Finance Group

Our Green and Sustainable Finance Group focuses on ensuring UK policy and regulations promotes the UK as an internationally competitive and globally attractive destination for green investment.

The group convenes senior stakeholders from across the financial and related professional services industry to influence the policy environment and evolution of regulatory frameworks to bolster the UK's competitiveness in green and sustainable finance.

Priorities of the Green and Sustainable Finance Group:

  • To inform and advance policy development on the net zero agenda, including a demonstrable contribution to proposals implemented by the UK government and regulators.
  • Ensuring that the UK remains remaining an internationally attractive and competitive destination for financial and related professional services firms to undertake green and sustainable finance activities and functions.
  • Maximising the contribution of the industry to the UN's Sustainable Development Goals, in both the transition to a net zero economy and in the delivery of the goals of the Paris Agreement on climate change.
  • Ensuring our policy positions reflect our cross-sectoral remit and represent the full financial and related professional services ecosystem.
  • Ensuring the work of the group helps to deliver our overall strategy.
